Overview
Alien is a minimal Cronus Zen script for Fortnite on PS4 and PS5 with one feature: a fast reset macro on the Touchpad. Pressing Touchpad fires Edit (Square) for 20ms, then Reset (L1) for 20ms, then Confirm (R1) for 20ms to complete a full edit-reset-confirm sequence in under 60ms. InstaFastReset is always on — there is no toggle. There is no OLED, no LED, no anti-recoil, no aim assist, and no persistent save.
What Is Included
- FastReset macro — Touchpad press triggers: Edit (Square) 20ms → Reset (L1) 20ms → Confirm (R1) 20ms; always active (InstaFastReset=On)
How Alien Works
On each frame, the script checks for a Touchpad press. When detected, it runs the FastReset combo which presses Square for 20ms, then L1 for 20ms, then hands off to the Confirm sub-combo which presses R1 for 20ms and releases it. The full sequence completes in approximately 60ms. InstaFastReset is a define set to On — it cannot be toggled in-game.
Compatibility Matrix

Compatibility Notes
The Touchpad must not be assigned to any in-game action in Fortnite. The script assumes Edit=Square, Confirm=R1, Reset=L1 — if your layout differs, update the define values in the script before loading. No PVAR save — there is nothing to save.
Setup Guide
- In Fortnite settings confirm Edit is bound to Square, Confirm to R1, Reset to L1, and Touchpad is unbound.
- Load the script into a Zen slot.
- Connect your PS4 or PS5 controller and confirm the active slot.
- Press Touchpad during an edit to trigger the fast reset sequence.
Best Settings for Fortnite
No adjustable values. If the 20ms timing feels too fast for your connection, open the script in Zen Studio and increase the wait values before compiling.
Tuning Guide
| Feature | When To Adjust | Expected Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Edit wait (default 20ms) | If Edit press isn't registering | Increase to 30–40ms for slower connections |
| Reset wait (default 20ms) | If Reset isn't firing cleanly | Increase in small steps until reliable |
| Confirm wait (default 20ms) | If Confirm step is missed | Increase to ensure R1 registers after Reset |
Tips for Best Results
- The Touchpad must not be bound to anything in-game — the macro uses it as a free trigger so it doesn't conflict with normal gameplay.
- Ensure your in-game binds match the script: Edit on Square, Confirm on R1, Reset on L1.
- The macro fires immediately on Touchpad press with no toggle — it is always active.
Troubleshooting
Macro not firing
Confirm Touchpad is unbound in-game — if it is mapped to anything, the macro press will also trigger that action
Wrong buttons executing
Check your in-game Edit, Confirm, and Reset binds match Square, R1, and L1 respectively
Confirm step not registering
The 20ms timing is fixed — if your game requires a longer press, edit the wait values in the script before loading

Yes — PS4_ defines are compatible with PS5 via the Cronus Zen
Will this interfere with my normal Touchpad use?
