Overview

Aim is a Cronus Zen script for Fortnite on PS4 and PS5 by SCR3WZ. It layers three simultaneous aim assist combos on the right stick — each applying ±10 oscillations with slightly different step timing (1ms, no wait, and no waits respectively) — all stopping when the right stick exceeds 30. Exponential anti-recoil pushes the right stick Y-axis down by 45 while both triggers are held, tuned specifically for Fortnite's Exponential look input mode. A bloom reducer oscillates the left stick in a small pattern during play. Instant edit reset is on by default; rapid fire and pickup macro are included but off.

What Is Included

How Aim Works

All three aim assist combos run simultaneously every frame, each pushing the right stick through a small ±10 oscillation pattern with slightly different timing — the combined layered effect creates a persistent pull that halts the moment the right stick is intentionally moved beyond 30. The ExpoAntiRecoil function fires when both triggers are held, pushing the right stick Y-axis downward by the configured value. This is calibrated for Exponential look input in Fortnite, where the stick-to-camera response curve differs from Linear — using Linear input will produce a different feel. The bloom reducer runs a steady left stick oscillation pattern during play. Instant edit reset tracks edit presses and automates the confirm on reset. All features except rapid fire and pickup macro are active by default.

Compatibility Notes

This script is specifically tuned for Exponential look input mode in Fortnite. Using it with Linear input will give different results and anti-recoil may not compensate correctly. Set Fortnite's look input to Exponential before using this script. Button binds assume standard Fortnite PS4 layout: Fire=R2, ADS=L2, Edit=LS, Pickup=X. No PVAR save — settings reset on every script load.

Setup Guide

  1. In Fortnite settings, set look input to Exponential — this is required for the anti-recoil to work correctly.
  2. Update Cronus Zen firmware and open Zen Studio.
  3. Open the script in Zen Studio and adjust values if needed (ExpoAntiRecoil, Aa1/Aa2/Aa3).
  4. To enable rapid fire, set RapidFire=TRUE. To enable pickup macro, set PickUpMacro=TRUE.
  5. If using DS4/5 on Xbox or PC, set PlayStationOnXbox=TRUE.
  6. Compile and load the script into a Zen slot.
  7. Connect your controller and confirm the active slot.
  8. The OLED will display the SCR3WZ startup image and the LED will begin the RGB cycle.
  9. All active features run automatically — no further input required.

Best Settings for Fortnite

Defaults: ExpoAntiRecoil=45, Aa1/Aa2/Aa3=10, stop threshold=30. Start with defaults and Exponential look input set in Fortnite. If aim assist feels too aggressive or stops too easily, adjust Aa values downward or raise the stop threshold. If anti-recoil overshoots, lower ExpoAntiRecoil in small steps.

Tuning Guide

FeatureWhen To AdjustExpected Effect
ExpoAntiRecoil (default 45)When recoil is not compensated or overshootsAdjusts downward RY push while ADS+fire — requires Exponential input mode
Aa1 / Aa2 / Aa3 (all default 10)When aim assist layers feel too strong or weakAdjusts oscillation magnitude for each of the three combos independently
SCR3WZDELAY (default 1ms)When aim timing feels offChanges the step delay in AA1 (AA2 and AA3 have no delay by design)
Stop threshold (default 30)When aim assist cuts out too easilyEdit the >30 conditions in each combo check to widen or narrow the movement gate

Tips for Best Results

Troubleshooting

Anti-recoil not working correctly

Confirm Exponential look input is set in Fortnite settings — the script is tuned for this mode

Aim assist stopping immediately

Aim assist stops when right stick exceeds 30 — reduce Aa1/Aa2/Aa3 if it's too sensitive to stick movement

Recoil compensation too strong

Lower ExpoAntiRecoil from 45 in the script

Rapid fire not activating

Set RapidFire=TRUE in the script before loading

Touchpad not working on Xbox

Set PlayStationOnXbox=TRUE to swap the PS4 touchpad and share button mappings

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does this require Exponential input mode?

The anti-recoil value (45) is calibrated for Exponential look input — Linear input has a different curve and the compensation will feel different

Can I use Linear input instead?

Yes, but adjust ExpoAntiRecoil down significantly as the feel and pull will differ

How do I enable Rapid Fire?

Set RapidFire=TRUE in the script before loading — it is designed for zero build modes

Do settings save between sessions?

No — there is no PVAR save; reload to restore defaults

What does the OLED show?

A custom SCR3WZ bitmap image on startup — no text displayed

Does the script work on Xbox?

Set PlayStationOnXbox=TRUE if using a DS4 or DualSense on Xbox or PC to fix the touchpad button mapping
