Overview

Aim Tracker is a Cronus Zen script for Fortnite on PS4 and PS5 by SCR3WZ. It uses a polar tracking aim assist system with two speed modes, applied via POLAR_RX and POLAR_RY offsets from precomputed lookup tables. Build mode detection disables aim assist automatically while building and re-enables it when returning to combat. Anti-recoil applies a configurable vertical push (default 25) while both triggers are held, with PVAR saving across sessions. Instant edit reset and pickup macro are included but disabled by default. RGB cycling LED and a custom SCR3WZ OLED startup bitmap are included.

What Is Included

How Aim Tracker Works

On ADS (and optionally on fire when PP13=TRUE), the polar tracking function PP31 advances an angle counter by PP18 each frame and reads cosine and sine values from precomputed tables (PP28 and PP30) to compute POLAR_RX and POLAR_RY offsets. The speed of orbit is determined by PP18 — mode 41 sets PP18=50 (slower, wider orbit) and mode 42 sets PP18=2 (faster, tighter). PP12 scales the radius of the correction. When both sticks are near-neutral (abs ≤35), StrafeShot also oscillates the left stick ±100 at 1ms, adding a micro-movement layer. Build mode detection monitors the Circle button and placement inputs — while BuildTrack is active, aim assist is suppressed. Anti-recoil pushes the right stick Y-axis down by AR_Ver while both triggers are held simultaneously, with an optional horizontal component. All anti-recoil values load from PVAR on startup.

Compatibility Notes

Button binds assume standard Fortnite PS4 layout: ADS=L2, Fire=R2, Interact=Square, Edit=Touchpad, Reset=R1, Switch=Circle, Pickaxe=Triangle, Wall=R2, Floor=R1, Ramp=L2, Roof=L1, Trap=Square, Build=Circle. No in-game menu — all values must be edited in the script before loading. Anti-recoil values (AR_Ver and AR_Horiz) persist via PVAR and do not reset on reload.

Setup Guide

  1. Update Cronus Zen firmware and open Zen Studio.
  2. Open the script and set PP11 to 41 (default slower) or 42 (faster) depending on your preference.
  3. Adjust PP12 (default 15) up or down to set aim assist strength.
  4. Set PP13=TRUE to enable aim assist on fire as well as ADS, or FALSE for ADS only.
  5. Adjust antirecoilstrength (default 25) for your vertical recoil — this seeds AR_Ver on first load.
  6. Enable InstaReset=TRUE or PickupMacro=TRUE if needed.
  7. Compile and load the script into a Zen slot.
  8. Connect your controller and confirm the active slot.
  9. The OLED will display the SCR3WZ startup image and the LED will begin the RGB cycle.
  10. All active features run automatically — build mode detection and anti-recoil are on by default.

Best Settings for Fortnite

Defaults: PP11=41, PP12=15, PP13=TRUE, antirecoilstrength=25, AR_Horiz=0, BuildTracker=TRUE. Start with defaults. If aim assist feels too aggressive, lower PP12 or switch to mode 41 (slower). If recoil is not compensated enough, increase antirecoilstrength before first load — subsequent edits require clearing SPVAR_11 or changing the PVAR default.

Tuning Guide

FeatureWhen To AdjustExpected Effect
PP11 (default 41)When aim tracking feels too slow or too fast41=slower wider orbit (PP18=50), 42=faster tighter orbit (PP18=2)
PP12 (default 15)When aim pull feels too strong or too weakScales the polar correction radius — higher = stronger pull
PP13 (default TRUE)When aim assist should only activate on ADSSet FALSE to restrict aim assist to ADS-only (no fire activation)
antirecoilstrength / AR_Ver (default 25)When vertical recoil overshoots or undershootsAdjusts downward right stick push while both triggers held
AR_Horiz (default 0)When weapon drifts left or right during sustained fireAdds horizontal anti-recoil correction

Tips for Best Results

Troubleshooting

Aim assist not activating

Confirm you are not in build mode — BuildTracker disables aim assist during builds

Aim assist activating during builds

Check BuildTracker=TRUE is set and that your build binds match the script defines (Wall=R2, Floor=R1, Ramp=L2, Roof=L1, Trap=Square, Build=Circle)

Anti-recoil not working

Confirm AntiRecoil=TRUE and that you are holding both L2 and R2 simultaneously

Anti-recoil feels wrong

Adjust AR_Ver (default 25) up or down in small increments; AR_Horiz stays 0 unless you have horizontal drift

Aim assist too slow or fast

Change PP11 from 41 (slow) to 42 (fast) in the script before loading

Aim assist too weak or strong

Adjust PP12 (default 15) in the script before loading

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between PP11=41 and PP11=42?

Mode 41 uses PP18=50 (slower, wider polar orbit), mode 42 uses PP18=2 (faster, tighter orbit)

Does aim assist work while building?

No — BuildTracker disables aim assist while in build mode and re-enables it automatically when you exit

Do anti-recoil settings save?

Yes — AR toggle, AR_Ver, and AR_Horiz are saved to PVAR (SPVAR_3, SPVAR_11, SPVAR_12) and load automatically on startup

How do I use Instant Edit Reset?

Set InstaReset=TRUE in the script before loading. Press D-Pad Right to fire Edit (Touchpad) then Reset (R1)

Does the script work on Xbox?

The script uses PS4_ defines — it will function on PS5 via PS4 controller but is not specifically coded for Xbox

Is there an in-game menu?

No — all values must be edited in the script before loading
