Overview
Aimlock V9 is a Cronus Zen script for Call of Duty on PS4 by PRIVATEJAMES with 12 mods. It sits between V2 and V10 in the Aimlock series, introducing the DAM Polar Assist system and Scope Shot that are not present in V10, while lacking V10's Taylor Shapes AA, Evil Version 5.3, sniper subsystem, Hold Breath, and Auto Ping. DoGz Polar VI and its fire boost are on by default in V9, while legacy anti-recoil uses a single profile at RY=30. The menu uses the same PrintMod system as V10, opening with L2 + Options. No settings are saved between sessions.
What Is Included
- DoGz Polar VI AA — polar orbit via set_polar on POLAR_RS; activates on ADS when stick abs ≤ PolarRelease (default 20); values: PolarRadius (default 15), PolarAngle (default 20); default on
- Polar Boost VI — adds PolarRadiusBoost (default 5) and PolarAngleBoost (default 10) to DoGz while firing; default on
- DAM Polar Assist — independent polar AA using Taylor-style sin/cos lookup (DamPolar array) applied via set_val on AimX/AimY; when stick magnitude ≤ DAMRadius: sticky pull; above: magnitude-scaled fallback; values: DAMRadius (default 15), DAMAngle (default 20); default off
- DAM Polar Boost — adds DAMRadiusBoost (default 6) and DAMAngleBoost (default 10) to DAM Polar while firing; default off
- Legacy Anti-Recoil — single profile: AimY = LegacyAR1RY (default 30), AimX = LegacyAR1RX (default 0); activates while ADS + Fire; optional rumble gate and hipfire mode (both off); default on
- Rapid Fire — RapidFireHold (default 30ms) / RapidFireWait (default 30ms); optional hipfire mode (off); default off
- Slide Cancel CW — Cold War slide cancel; SlideDelay (default 80ms); default off
- Slide Cancel MW — MW/VG slide cancel; SlideDelay (default 80ms); stops on ADS + Crouch release; default off
- Bunny Hop — BunnyHopWait (default 40ms) jump cycle while Jump held; default off
- Block Rumble — suppresses all controller rumble; default on
- OLED Screen Saver — scrolling screen saver with timer; default on
- Scope Shot — while Fire held: auto-holds ADS simultaneously; default off
- 12-mod OLED menu with Zen slot display and PrintMod system
How Aimlock V9 Works
Opening the menu with L2 + Options enters the PrintMod navigation system — D-Pad Up/Down scrolls the 10 mods and D-Pad Left/Right adjusts the selected numeric value or toggles On/Off. Each frame, mods run conditionally based on their toggle state and current button inputs. DoGz Polar VI checks stick magnitude against PolarRelease each frame and calls set_polar to advance the orbit angle; above the threshold it stops. Batts Sticky runs the BattsStickyAssist combo which uses the AxisRelease function to only apply each directional offset when the axis is already within BattStickyPower of centre — this means it augments light aim drift without fighting deliberate movement. Legacy AR checks ADS + Fire and calls set_Val on AimY and AimX with the configured RY and RX values. No settings are saved to PVAR — all values reset to script defaults on each load.

Compatibility Notes
V9 uses a hardcoded PS4 default layout — Fire=R2, ADS=L2. Unlike V10, Slide Cancel MW is off by default in V9. DoGz Polar VI and its fire boost are on by default, so active aim assist begins immediately on load. No PVAR save — all values reset to defaults on each reload. For a more complete version of the Aimlock series, see Aimlock V10 (which adds Taylor Shapes AA, Evil Version 5.3, a sniper subsystem, Hold Breath, and Auto Ping).
Setup Guide
- Update Cronus Zen firmware and open Zen Studio.
- Confirm your in-game CoD layout uses R2 to fire and L2 to ADS (standard PS4 default).
- Load the script into a Zen slot.
- Connect your PS4 controller and confirm the active slot. The OLED will show the slot number.
- DoGz Polar VI and its boost activate immediately on load.
- Hold L2 + press Options to open the mod menu.
- D-Pad Up/Down scrolls mods, D-Pad Left/Right adjusts the selected value.
- Enable DAM Polar Assist (mod 3) to add the second polar AA layer.
- Enable Scope Shot (mod 12) if you want ADS to auto-hold while firing.
- Enable Slide Cancel MW or CW and Bunny Hop if needed — both are off by default.
- All values reset on reload — repeat adjustments each session.
Best Settings for Call Of Duty
Defaults: DoGz Polar VI on (PolarRadius=15, PolarAngle=20), Polar Boost VI on (boost +5/+10 on fire), DAM Polar off, Legacy AR on (RY=30, RX=0), all others off. Start by testing the default DoGz + Boost configuration first. Add DAM Polar Assist for a second layered effect — both systems complement each other. Reduce PolarRadius or DAMRadius if aim assist feels too aggressive for your sensitivity.
Tuning Guide
| Feature | When To Adjust | Expected Effect |
|---|---|---|
| PolarRadius (default 15) | When DoGz orbit feels too strong or subtle | Scales the set_polar orbit radius |
| PolarAngle (default 20) | When DoGz rotates too fast or slow | Adjusts the angular advance per frame |
| PolarRadiusBoost / PolarAngleBoost (default 5/10) | When Polar Boost VI fire pull is too aggressive | Scales the additional radius and angle during fire |
| PolarRelease (default 20) | When DoGz cuts in or out at wrong stick position | Adjusts the stick abs threshold for polar activation |
| DAMRadius (default 15) | When DAM Polar pull feels too strong or subtle | Scales the sin/cos orbit radius for set_val AA |
| DAMAngle (default 20) | When DAM Polar rotates too fast or slow | Adjusts the angular advance for the DAM system |
| DAMRadiusBoost / DAMAngleBoost (default 6/10) | When DAM fire boost is too aggressive | Scales the DAM fire boost |
| Legacy AR 1 RY (default 30) | When recoil climbs too much or overshoots | Scales the downward RY push while ADS+Fire |
| RapidFireHold / RapidFireWait (default 30ms/30ms) | When rapid fire rate needs adjusting | Tune both values to achieve target RPM |
Tips for Best Results
- Open the mod menu with L2 + Options. D-Pad Up/Down scrolls mods, D-Pad Left/Right adjusts values.
- DoGz Polar VI and its Boost are both on by default — test in a private match before going online.
- DAM Polar Assist uses a different stick offset method from DoGz (set_val vs set_polar) — they can run together for a layered effect.
- Scope Shot auto-holds ADS whenever Fire is pressed — useful for weapons where ADS is required for full accuracy.
- Settings reset on every reload — no PVAR save. Re-adjust values at the start of each session.
- Unlike V10, Slide Cancel MW and Bunny Hop are off by default in V9 — enable them in the menu if needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is V9 different from V10?
V9 has DAM Polar Assist and Scope Shot not in V10, but lacks Taylor Shapes AA, Evil Version 5.3, the sniper subsystem, Hold Breath, and Auto Ping; DoGz Polar is on by default in V9 but off in V10
What is the difference between DoGz Polar and DAM Polar?
DoGz uses set_polar on the POLAR_RS axis; DAM uses a Taylor-style sin/cos lookup with set_val directly on AimX/AimY — they can run together for a layered effect
Do settings save?
No — there is no PVAR; all values reset to defaults on every script reload
What does Scope Shot do?
While Fire is held, ADS is automatically held at 100 simultaneously — useful for weapons that require ADS for full accuracy
