Overview

Aimlock V10 is a Cronus Zen script for Call of Duty on PS4 by PRIVATEJAMES, predating the more expansive Aimlock Custom. It provides 17 mods with a focus on aim assist versatility and a dedicated sniper system not found in later versions. Taylor Shapes AA offers five orbit shapes (Circle, Tall, Wide, ZEN, Helix) selectable in the menu. DoGz Polar VI provides an independent polar orbit with optional fire-triggered radius and angle boosts. Evil Version 5.3 applies a context-sensitive sampling system that switches between Spiroide and Perfection aim assist based on stick position. The sniper subsystem is unique to V10 — it overrides the normal AA with a dedicated polar orbit, adds steady aim mapped to a sine-based angle, and scales sensitivity independently per context (general, ADS, fire, ADS+fire). No PVAR save — all values reset on reload.

What Is Included

How Aimlock V10 Works

The OLED menu opens with L2 + Options. D-Pad Up/Down scrolls the 17 mods and D-Pad Left/Right adjusts the selected mod's value using the PrintMod system — toggles cycle On/Off and numeric values step by their configured increment. Taylor Shapes AA advances the ShapeAngle by TaylorAngle each frame and feeds it into GetShapes, which computes ShapeSin/ShapeCos for the selected shape and applies offsets to AimY and AimX while the stick magnitude is below TaylorRadius. DoGz Polar VI uses set_polar on the PS4 right stick when the stick is within PolarRelease, applying a continuously advancing angle; when the stick moves beyond that threshold it falls back to a four-direction combo. Evil Version 5.3 samples two consecutive AimX/AimY readings and branches between Spiroide and Perfection based on how far the stick is from centre — Spiroide applies a small oscillating offset while ADS+Fire, Perfection applies boost/correction based on whether the stick is accelerating or decelerating. When Sniper Mode is active, TaylorSniperAA replaces the combat polar orbit with its own radius/step values, TaylorSniperSA applies a sine-mapped steady correction, and TaylorSniperSens remaps all sensitivity contexts. Legacy AR applies flat RY and RX corrections while ADS+Fire with optional rumble gating. All settings are non-persistent — no PVAR save is implemented.

Compatibility Notes

V10 uses a hardcoded PS4 default layout — Fire=R2, ADS=L2, Crouch=R3, Jump=Cross, Sprint=L3, Melee=Circle, Reload=Square. There is no layout selection system; if you use a non-default button layout, button remapping is not supported. Settings do not persist between sessions — all values reset to script defaults on reload. For the more expansive multi-layout version with PVAR save and 31 mods, use Aimlock Custom instead.

Setup Guide

  1. Update Cronus Zen firmware and open Zen Studio.
  2. Confirm your in-game CoD layout uses R2 to fire and L2 to ADS (standard PS4 default).
  3. Load the script into a Zen slot.
  4. Connect your PS4 controller and confirm the active slot. The OLED will show the active slot number.
  5. Hold L2 + press Options to open the mod menu.
  6. D-Pad Up/Down scrolls mods, D-Pad Left/Right adjusts the selected value.
  7. Enable or disable Taylor Shapes AA, DoGz Polar, or Evil Version 5.3 — they can run together (Taylor + DoGz) but Evil should be used separately.
  8. To enter Sniper Mode, hold R3 and press D-Pad Down. Enable Sniper AA and Sniper SA from the menu if desired.
  9. Set the Legacy AR profile that matches your weapon. Profile 1 suits ARs, Profile 3 suits high-recoil weapons.
  10. Re-adjust all values at the start of each session as settings do not save.

Best Settings for Call Of Duty

Defaults: TaylorAssist=ZEN(4), TaylorRadius=15, TaylorAngle=15, PolarRadius=15, PolarAngle=20, PolarRadiusBoost=5, PolarAngleBoost=10, AimCorrection=12, AimBoost=7, LegacyAR Profile 1 (RY=25), RapidFire=30ms/30ms, SlideDelay=80ms, BunnyHopWait=40ms. Start with Taylor Shapes AA on ZEN shape. Add DoGz Polar VI for an additional polar layer. Keep Evil Version 5.3 off unless switching to a dedicated aim assist style — it operates differently from Taylor/DoGz. For sniping, activate Sniper Mode and enable both Sniper AA and Sniper SA.

Tuning Guide

FeatureWhen To AdjustExpected Effect
TaylorRadius (default 15)When Taylor AA pull feels too strong or subtleScales the orbit radius for all 5 shapes
TaylorAngle (default 15)When Taylor AA rotates too fast or slowAdjusts angular step per frame
TaylorMinRadius (default 5)When ZEN or Helix spiral range feels wrongSets the minimum inner radius for spiral-type shapes
PolarRadius / PolarAngle (default 15/20)When DoGz orbit feel is offBase radius and rotation speed for DoGz polar
PolarRadiusBoost / PolarAngleBoost (default 5/10)When fire boost is too aggressiveAdditional radius and angle applied when firing
PolarRelease (default 20)When DoGz cuts in or out too easilyStick threshold before DoGz falls back to combo mode
AimCorrection / AimBoost (default 12/7)When Evil 5.3 overcorrects or underpullsScales the correction and boost applied in Perfection mode
MVTLimit / AimLimit (default 30/70)When Evil 5.3 switches modes at the wrong stick positionLower values = switches earlier; raise to widen the Spiroide zone
LegacyAR Profile values (25/36/48 RY)When anti-recoil overshoots or undershootsProfile 1 lightest, Profile 3 strongest — match to weapon recoil

Tips for Best Results

Troubleshooting

Aim assist feels wrong for snipers

Enable Sniper Mode (hold R3 + press Down), then enable Sniper AA and/or Sniper SA from the menu

Sniper AA not activating

Confirm Sniper Mode is active — Sniper AA only fires when TaylorSniperMode is on

Polar boost not applying

Enable Polar Boost VI toggle (mod 3) in addition to DoGz Polar VI AA

Legacy AR overshooting

Switch to a lower profile (Profile 1 RY=25 is lightest) or reduce the RY value in the menu

Settings reset between sessions

V10 has no PVAR save — all values must be re-set each time the script loads

Slide cancel not triggering

Ensure you are moving (left stick pushed) and the correct mode is enabled: MW or CW

Frequently Asked Questions

How is V10 different from Aimlock Custom?

V10 has 17 mods with a sniper-specific subsystem not in Custom; Custom has 31 mods, 22 layout presets, PVAR save, and more AR types

Do settings save between sessions?

No — V10 has no PVAR save; all values reset to defaults on each script load

How do I activate Sniper Mode?

Hold R3 and press D-Pad Down — the OLED confirms the toggle. Enable Sniper AA and Sniper SA separately in the menu

Can I run Taylor Shapes and DoGz Polar together?

Yes — they apply to different stick systems and can stack. Avoid running Evil Version 5.3 at the same time

What is the ZEN shape?

ZEN is a hybrid spiral shape (TaylorAssist=4) that uses inner and outer radius bounds — it is the default and generally the most effective all-round shape

Does this work on Xbox?

No — V10 uses hardcoded PS4 button defines with no cross-platform detection
