Overview
Aim Advanced is a Cronus Zen script for Fortnite on PS4 and PS5 by snercz. It runs ZenAssist (oscillating 4-axis aim push on ADS and hipfire) and DAM polar aim assist simultaneously on ADS, alongside adjustable anti-recoil, StrafeShot auto strafe, and build mode detection. Aim assist and polar assist are automatically suppressed while in build mode and restored when switching back to combat. Anti-recoil vertical and horizontal strength persist via PVAR across sessions.
What Is Included
- ZenAssist — 4-axis oscillating right stick aim assist active on ADS (default Power 1, cycles Y+/X+/Y-/X- every 50ms)
- ZenAssist Hipfire — same ZenAssist active on fire button without ADS (ZenAssistHip=TRUE by default)
- DAM Polar Aim Assist — circular polar aim assist active on ADS (default Radius 4, Angle step 4)
- PolarBoost — optional extra polar radius and angle on ADS + fire (default off, RadiusBoost 7, AngleBoost 9)
- Anti-Recoil — vertical and horizontal right stick compensation active on ADS + fire (default AR_Ver 20, AR_Horiz 0)
- StrafeShot — rapid left stick left/right oscillation (default StrafeWait 1ms), stops when left stick is moved
- Build Mode Detection — tracks build mode via Circle press; suppresses aim assist and polar assist while building
- PVAR persistent anti-recoil (Anti_Recoil toggle, AR_Ver, AR_Horiz saved across sessions)
- Startup controller rumble on first load
- OLED startup display showing script name and author
How Advanced Works
On startup the script plays a brief rumble greeting and displays the startup screen. The BuildTracker monitors Circle presses to determine if the player is in build or combat mode — while building, both ZenAssist and PolarAssist are disabled. Switching to pickaxe resets the tracker back to combat mode. In combat mode, ZenAssist applies a small oscillating right stick push cycling across four axes (Y+, X+, Y−, X−) every 50ms while ADS or firing. PolarAssist applies a smooth circular DAM polar offset to the right stick while ADS. Anti-recoil adds a configurable downward (and optionally horizontal) offset to the right stick while ADS and firing, stopping if the stick exceeds its threshold. StrafeShot rapidly oscillates the left stick left and right in 1ms intervals when the left stick is not being moved, and can be toggled with Share.
Compatibility Matrix

Compatibility Notes
Button binds are hardcoded to standard Fortnite PS4 layout: fire = RT (mapped via XB1_RT), ADS = LT (XB1_LT), build = Circle, pickaxe = Triangle, Wall = R2, Floor = R1, Ramp = L2, Roof = L1, Trap = Square. All values are adjusted directly in the script before loading — there is no in-game OLED menu.
Setup Guide
- Update Cronus Zen firmware and open Zen Studio.
- Open the script in Zen Studio and adjust default values if needed (antirecoilstrength, AR_Horiz, Radius, Angle, Power).
- Compile and load the script into a Zen slot.
- Connect your PS4 or PS5 controller and confirm the active slot.
- On first load the controller will vibrate briefly and the OLED will display the startup screen.
- The script is immediately active in combat mode.
- Press Circle in Fortnite to enter build mode — aim assist disables automatically.
- Switch to pickaxe to reset the build tracker back to combat mode.
- Press Share at any time to toggle StrafeShot on or off.
Best Settings for Fortnite
Defaults: antirecoilstrength 20, AR_Horiz 0, Radius 4, Angle 4, Power 1, StrafeWait 1. Start with defaults. If recoil pulls left or right, adjust AR_Horiz in small increments (positive = pushes right, negative = pushes left). Increase Radius or Power only in small steps — values too high will cause visible aim drift.
Tuning Guide
| Feature | When To Adjust | Expected Effect |
|---|---|---|
| antirecoilstrength / AR_Ver (default 20) | When shots are pulling up after firing | Increases downward compensation on right stick Y-axis |
| AR_Horiz (default 0) | When shots consistently drift left or right | Adds horizontal compensation on right stick X-axis |
| Power (default 1) | When ZenAssist feels too weak | Increases oscillating push strength per 50ms cycle |
| Radius (default 4) | When polar aim assist feels weak | Increases polar orbit radius around target |
| Angle step (default 4) | When polar rotation feels too slow | Increases rotation speed per frame |
| RadiusBoost / AngleBoost | When PolarBoost is enabled and feels weak | Adds extra polar radius (7) and angle speed (9) while firing |
| StrafeWait (default 1ms) | When strafe oscillation feels too slow | Decreases interval between left/right strafe pulses |
Tips for Best Results
- Edit antirecoilstrength (default 20) in the script to tune vertical recoil compensation.
- Edit AR_Horiz (default 0) to add horizontal recoil correction if your weapon pulls left or right.
- Edit Radius (default 4) and Angle (default 4) to tune polar aim assist strength and rotation speed.
- Edit Power (default 1) to adjust ZenAssist strength — higher values increase the oscillating push.
- Toggle StrafeShot on and off during play by pressing Share.
- Build mode detection disables aim assist automatically — switch to pickaxe to reset the tracker.
- PolarBoost is off by default — enable it in the script to add extra polar radius and angle speed when firing.
Troubleshooting
Aim assist active while building
Switch to pickaxe to reset the build tracker
Anti-recoil over-compensating
Lower antirecoilstrength in the script
Strafe activating at wrong time
StrafeShot stops when left stick moves beyond 35 — push stick to override, or press Share to toggle off
Aim assist too weak or strong
Adjust Power (ZenAssist) or Radius/Angle (PolarAssist) in the script
Horizontal recoil drift
Set AR_Horiz to a small positive or negative value in the script
Changelog

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I adjust settings without Zen Studio?
No — all values are set in the script code before loading; PVAR saves anti-recoil state across sessions
What is BuildTracker?
It detects when you press Circle to enter build mode and disables aim assist while building
How do I re-enable aim assist after building?
Switch to your pickaxe — this resets the build tracker back to combat mode
How do I toggle StrafeShot?
Press Share during play to toggle it on or off
Is PolarBoost active by default?
No — PolarBoost is set to FALSE by default; enable it in the script for extra polar strength while firing
Does ZenAssist work without ADS?
Yes — ZenAssistHip is TRUE by default so it also activates on the fire button without ADS
