Overview

Aim Assist is a Cronus Zen script for Overwatch 2 on PS4. It provides two oscillating right stick aim assist combos that switch automatically — L2_C activates on ADS alone, applying gentle oscillating pushes, while R2_C activates when both ADS and Primary Fire are held, applying stronger values. When the right stick is moved beyond ±33, both combos stop, ensuring manual aim always overrides the script.

What Is Included

How Aim Assist Works

When L2 is held, the L2_C combo runs continuously, cycling the right stick through a 4-step pattern: up (-25 RY), right (+25 RX, +15 RY), down again (+15 RY), left (-25 RX, +15 RY). When R2 is also pressed while L2 is held, the script stops L2_C and starts R2_C, which runs the same shaped pattern at higher values (-35/+35 RX, -35/+25 RY). The moment the right stick is pushed beyond ±33 on either axis, both combos stop — deliberate aiming always takes full control.

Compatibility Notes

This script uses hardcoded PS4 button defines and is designed for PS4 only. Button layout assumes standard Overwatch 2 PS4 controls: L2 = ADS / Secondary Fire, R2 = Primary Fire. No OLED, LED, or PVAR — settings reset on every script load. All values must be edited in the script before loading.

Setup Guide

  1. Update Cronus Zen firmware and open Zen Studio.
  2. Open the script in Zen Studio and adjust values if needed (delay, RX/RY strengths, stop threshold).
  3. Compile and load the script into a Zen slot.
  4. Connect your PS4 controller and confirm the active slot.
  5. Launch Overwatch 2 — aim assist activates automatically when L2 is held.

Best Settings for Overwatch 2

Defaults: stop threshold ±33, delay 11ms, L2_C RY -25/+15 / RX ±25, R2_C RY -35/+25 / RX ±35. Start with defaults. If the script stops too easily when you aim, increase the value variable. If the pull feels too aggressive, reduce the RX/RY values in whichever combo (L2_C or R2_C) is too strong.

Tuning Guide

L2_C RX values (±25)When ADS-only assist pulls too far left or rightAdjusts horizontal oscillation in ADS mode

Tips for Best Results

Troubleshooting

Aim assist not activating

Confirm L2 (ADS) is being held — the script requires L2 to activate either combo

Aim assist stopping immediately

The stop threshold is ±33 — your right stick may be drifting; try increasing value in the script

Aim assist too weak while firing

Increase the RX/RY values in the R2_C combo in the script

Aim assist too strong

Lower the RX/RY values in L2_C or R2_C, or increase the stop threshold
